Iran _ MBB woman detained without charges... fears of possible abuse

A Muslim Based Believer (MBB) woman in Iran has been arrested without charge and detained for more than 10 days, leaving her family concerned about her possible mistreatment. According to Morning Star News, Mojdeh Falahi, 36, was arrested by Iran's Revolutionary Guards on Sept. 9 after visiting a prosecutor's office in Shiraz to help a Christian, and is being interrogated in an Intelligence Ministry detention facility.

Her mother, who visited her on September 30, said Palahi cried uncontrollably during the visit, and the family is worried about authorities' mistreatment and her detention, according to Sam Khosravi, Palahi's stepfather.

Having been imprisoned for his Christian faith himself, Cosrabi said he is familiar with the Iranian government's treatment of converts, and the family is most concerned that Iranian authorities will treat Palahi brutally, leaving her psychologically scarred for life. Falahi is being held without a lawyer, and her family is calling for her release, but no progress has been made.

May God be the judge and judge Falahi's case with justice.

God is the one who rules justly over all the judges on earth. May God's justice rule over all those who are in charge of Falahi's case and bring him out of prison quickly.

Give her strong faith so that she may know the peace of God and not waver in her faith amidst the brutal torture and turmoil in the prison. Give Falahi the boldness of faith to witness to others in prison for Jesus and to be used as a conduit for the gospel.

3. that many Christians who are imprisoned will not despair, but will persevere through their time in prayer and be a witness to the work of God.
