MMI believes that the Bible is the Word of God. Therefore, we are certain that every Word of God will be fulfilled as promised. We believe that Jesus Christ was incarnated on this earth according to the Scriptures, and that He will return again as proclaimed in the Scriptures. We trust in all of God’s works—His redemptive history—and are convinced that His eternal love for this fallen world and for us is the driving force behind it all. Furthermore, we believe that by His grace, God calls His saints and involves them in His work.

Commandment Community
MMI is a community dedicated to practicing the new commandment that Jesus gave us in John 13:34–35. Jesus said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” In accordance with His Word, we love one another and thereby fulfill our mission by putting the love of Christ into action. This love is not only the evidence that we are Christ’s disciples, but also the means by which we fulfill His commission. Through this love, we spread God’s love to the nations and lead all peoples toward Him.

Mission Community
MMI is a missional community established upon the Great Commission of Jesus. We take as our mission the words recorded in Matthew 28:19–20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” In this way, we devote ourselves to proclaiming the Gospel to all nations. In particular, we hold fast to the promise of Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” As the holy bride of the Lord, we are a community that seeks to bear witness to the Gospel of the Kingdom to every nation with the love that Jesus has for them.

Frontier Mission Community
MMI is a frontier missions community committed to reaching unreached people groups within the 10/40 Window—those who have never heard the Gospel. We focus on sending missionaries to the 10/40 Window and, through evangelism and discipleship, establishing churches (Matthew 16:16–18). In particular, we employ creative strategies tailored to frontier contexts to open doors for the Gospel. To achieve holistic missions, we raise up lay professionals who serve as ministry workers, engaging them in this kingdom endeavor.

International Partnership Community
MMI believes that God’s work cannot be accomplished by the efforts of one particular nation, church, or organization alone. It can only be fulfilled when believers’ communities around the world unite. In today’s increasingly interconnected world, we believe the fulfillment of Christ’s Great Commission requires global cooperation among churches and mission organizations. To partner as an international community is to unite the diverse gifts of each nation for God’s Kingdom, thereby beautifully fulfilling the Lord’s will as the body of Christ. It is both the historical and contemporary imperative for our time.
