Statement of Faith
The Bible: We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and entirely trustworthy Word of God. The Old and New Testaments are God's Word, possessing the ultimate and supreme authority in all matters of our faith and conduct.
The Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We confess that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all sovereign over creation, redemption, and final judgment.
Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death and resurrection on the cross, His ascension, and His return. We also believe in salvation through Jesus Christ, who is at the center of the triune God's redemptive history.
Salvation: We confess that all humanity has been entirely fallen since Adam's fall and is therefore deserving of God's judgment. We believe that redemption is accomplished according to the eternal will of God and that this salvation, given by grace alone to believers, manifests in the fruit of sanctified Christian living and is simultaneously evidenced.
The Holy Spirit: We believe in the holy person and work of the Holy Spirit, who regenerates and sanctifies believers and empowers us to live holy lives, witness for Jesus Christ, and enable the church to fulfill its mission. The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers and guides us into all truth.
The Church: We confess that the church is a universal and cosmic body of Christ composed of all true believers, united in one Spirit. The church is the only holy community of believers who, under the gospel truth passed down through the apostles, cooperate in brotherly love across denominations and are ultimately sent to make disciples and proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth.
The Return of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. His return is certain, and believers will be clothed in glorious bodies and will live and reign with Christ eternally.
