Israel, Iran, Yemen attack each other as Middle East conflict escalates

After Iran fired 180 ballistic missiles at Israel on Monday (local time), Israel retaliated with strikes against Hamas and Hezbollah, resulting in multiple casualties.

In addition, Yemen's pro-Iranian Houthi rebels fired a rocket toward Israel on Feb. 2 (local time). The Houthis have continued to blow up ships with possible Israeli ties, such as a British tanker in the Red Sea, in support of the Palestinian militant group Hamas during the Gaza war that broke out last October.

Lebanese militant group Hezbollah claimed on Sunday that it engaged Israeli forces that entered its territory and forced them to retreat. The Israeli military said in a statement that it had committed an additional division of troops to the ground war in Lebanon.

Israeli ground and air forces continue to destroy Hezbollah positions and resources. Israeli jets again struck targets in Beirut and its suburbs on March 3 and 4 (local time).

One target was Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters, and another strike was aimed at Hezbollah's new top leader, Hashem Safieddine, who was meeting with other officers not already eliminated in previous strikes.

Local reports indicate that Hashem Safiedin, who was targeted in this strike, is believed to have been killed. Safiedin is considered a possible successor to Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

1. the conflict in Israel and the Middle East is escalating. May the repeated response of retaliation come to a halt. Since retaliation is self-defeating in the end, please remove the leaders of these countries from every position of expressing their national interests and righteousness through war. Please change their brain's genetic makeup so that they will fear You, look back at their people, and stop all retaliatory operations.

2. The Israel-Hamas war, which began on October 7 last year, has reached its first anniversary, and I pray that God will intervene and stop it from escalating any further.

Please return the 64 hostages who are still being held captive to their families. Please comfort their families and help them to turn the situation over to You, and quiet the hearts of hatred and retaliation. Fill the land with saving grace that the poor souls of Israel and Palestine may renounce the false idols they have relied on and the religious fervor that has no Savior, Jesus Christ, and recognize Him as the Messiah.
